WOW! 131 hp?  That is very good.  Considering that the stock DOHC puts
down around 110 hp to the wheels, this is just over a 20 hp increase, which i
think is very good indeed! This is almost exactly what the 1/4 hp calculator
said that i would have, so thats an interesting fact.  This run was made in
second gear on a very flat if a little bumpy road next to the Rose Bowl.  The
car felt pretty strong, but i will try a third gear run because I think i have
more hp in third.  Notice the bump in power at 4k rpm.  This is what i have
been talking about!  I have said that the throttle body makes the power hit at
4k, and i was right!  I have a stock tb, so i will test it against my modified
one as soon as I can.
On average I was making 128 or so hp, this was my best averaged (two way) run
and i actually floored it and then lifted maybe 5 mm off the floor and got my
best run in.  Big thanks to my cousin Mo for the laptop so i can do this kinda
stuff!

UPDATE:  My car doesn't have that much horsepower!  I have about five less
than that because, when I did my auto to manual tranny swap, I used an MP3
from a 98 sc2, which has a different 2nd gear ratio!  At any rate, looks like
the chart above over estimates by about 9 hp.  Then main thing, though, is not
exact hp numbers but how much change there is.  Every saturn will have its own
unique power output and charactoristics: what you want to measure is how the
modifications helped.  It is clear the the bolt-on's moved the power curve to
the right.  Power is quite smooth and strong above 4000 rpm.  Power also does
not seem to fall off so quickly at high rpm.  After repeated runs,
I average
just under 120WHP.
